April 8, 2001 Kawanoe-City, Ehime Pref. Kawanoe Sakura Festival at Shiroyama Park

The annual festival at Shiroyama Park was held on Sunday, it was warm as if it was the weather in May. As it has been fair these seven days, cherry blossoms are at their best. Many people gathered to enjoy various events including an outdoor tea ceremony service, mochi throwing and outdoor photography; sketching and a ceremonial sumo match were for children.
