Ito-City began to gather 35 kinds of 3000 cherry trees including someiyoshimo from all over Japan and planted in 1977, it took three years to complete, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the city's incorporation . "Sakura no sato Festival" is an annual event in April when 1000 someiyoshino and many other kinds of cherry blossoms come out. Cherry blossom-lined road that starts from Izu-kogen Station of Izu express to Mt.Omuro, which is 3 km long, consists of 3000 cherry trees is a famous spot of the spa. Flowers have just begun to fall.
