| It was cloudy day at 11 o'clock in the morning at the site of the Kurume Castle. Although only stonewalls are remained, the castle has a long history. It used to be a strong castle with the natural moat, the Chikugo River that runs though northwest of the castle. People come and enjoy watching cherry blossoms in spring, Japanese irises in June and the "Cricket Festival" in August. |
