| Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. At the 'Flower Valley' of Awaji Island Park, Awaji Highway Oasis on the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Driveway. I took this picture as I found some tinged trees. This tree is, apparently, a 'Rakuusho: cedar group, and also called the bald cypress. Has branches and leaves similar to those of metasequoia. Tree roots grow in swamplands. The leaves fall attached to short branch'. I never knew that cedars tinge. |
