Kouyou arrived late for Oirase torrent this year. Moreover, the summer heat has made the leaves fall before they tinge, so that we are unable to see the beautiful autumn scenery which the place normally offers us. There were not much red maples around, but the beech leaves, at least, were forming a yellow ceiling above the torrent.
