October 29, 2000 A mountain stream "Yagen" in the Shimokita Peninsula, Aomori Pref.

It lies near the Mt. Osorezan, the notorious mountain. Few people extend their journey to such notorious place even it was off-season of mountaineering. I enjoyed autumn leaves walking on the pavement along the ravine at my leisure. Most leaves were scarlet being different from the ones in Okuirise and looked so vivid.
