October 24, 2000 Lake Towada

The Nikkei newspaper reported that the scenery of colored leaves at Towada Lake comes second best in ten of them in Japan. It's beautiful, indeed. View from a pleasure boat must be more beautiful. It was however too crowded to make sure. Instead, I took pictures from the observatory where shutterbugs were swarmed. I was sort of irritated since the scenery was too grand to set in the viewfinder.
