November 25, 2000 The branch school of Shobarakakuchi High School in Takano-Cho, Hiroshima Prefecture. The school festival was held at the branch school of Shobarakakuchi High School in Takano-Cho. Takano-Cho lies in the basin surrounded by the mountains, and the school is on the hill. Every day, students climb up the hill by bicycles. The theme of the festival was "A once-in-a-lifetime chance". Though the school was small and was in the mountain area, students were very cheerful and their eyes were shining. Seeing the happy faces, I was relieved and thought they never get involved in the incidents occurred this year that related to the teenagers.
