November 23, 2000 Kiyosato in winter Kiyosato, Nagano Prefecture. Starting from Suwa in Nagano I stayed, I drove right across the Yatsugatake and got Kiyosato where many girls visit and gets alive in summer, they say. The temperature downed to -2°c in the morning. There were no tourists and no souvenir shops were opened. It sounded like being ghost town and was almost hard to imagine the bustle during summer.

	The Kiyosato Station Scenery is different from the one in summer when girls come to visit this Merchen-like town.		The main street in Kiyosato Even the main street of Kiyosato looked like a ghost town with no people and no dogs in the winter morning.
	In winter, the symbolic building of Kiyosato that is highland sightseeing spot looked isolated.
