October 12, 2000. Kibitsu Shrine, Okayama-City in Okayama Prefecture.

This shrine is dedicated to Kibitsuhiko no mikoto and his family. He was said to be a member of the imperial family, who was dispatched to this area as one of the generals of Imperial Court Yamato and ruled the district.

The main shrine
It was build in the Muromachi Era, at the beginning of fifteenth century. The style of building called "Kibi-zukuri" and is twice as big as the main building of Izumo Shrine that is reputed that no building is bigger than it.

Corridor of the shrine
The 400- meter corridor runs from the side of the outer shrine to the main building in the south. The shrine was built taking advantage of the slope of the mountain and the corridor shows the most beautiful and characteristic curve.
