April 29, 2000. The Flower Festival at the Himenosawa Park Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The Flower Festival is an annual event at the Himenosawa Park through April 29 to May 5. I walked 4-5 km from the top of the Mt. Higane to the center of the park as working out field athletics with many people. It was a good exercise. We had some quizzes abut Atami on the way from the mountain. Luckily, they gave us some sparklers, flower seeds and other presents. Azaleas are coming out in the park. They also give orienteering, origami and other events during the festival. Please take a look for details. http://www.city.atami.shizuoka.jp/event/index.html |
