People tend to stay indoors in winter because of the coldness, but they come up with various ideas to enjoy sports in winter here. The game "park golf" was thought up this year; it is kind of pat golf, hit the ball into the cup, which is 20cm in diameter using a stick and a ball that are remodeled gate ball equipment. It is very popular among young and old for it is easy and can be played in the small park. In summer, the tournaments are held every week in some places. They play it even under the temperature -10°cprotecting themselves against the cold. Some 200 people participated the game this winter. It seemed rather difficult to play on the snow, as the surface was more slippery and uneven than the grass, though it was not inclined.
