November 3, 1999. Oguni Autumn Festival. Ogunimachi, Niigata Prefecture.

Oguni Autumn Festival takes place every year on the Culture Day. It is now widely recognized as a new festival for the people of the town. Although it was used to be called the Industrial Culture Festival focusing mainly on the sale of agricultural products and the exhibition of calligraphy, paintings and photographs, the festival today has developed into the most vibrant gathering in town by adding dance, karaoke, folk songs and other entertainments.

Calligraphy, photogaphs, paintings, knittings and pottery are exhibited inside the building. I brought in three of my photos, too.
