17th October 1999 Introduction of where I live. Kawanishi city, Hyogo Prefecture.

This is a distant view of my city, Kawanishi in Hyogo prefecture. The picture was taken from Mt. Satsuki in the neighbouring Ikeda city. Ikeda city is on this side of Ina River, and beyond the river lies Kawanishi city which extends quite far. The Nose mountain range can be seen from here, too, and the flow of the Ina continues to the distance afar.

The wave-shaped building by the river on the left end of the picture is the Mitsunaka Hall (a concert hall). The suspension bridge is a part of the Hanshin motorway. The buildings to the left of the bridge are: Hankyu Train's 'Kawanishi Noseguchi sta.', JR's 'Kawanishi Ikeda sta.', Hankyu Department store, Jasco, Seiyu, and other shops and flats. The red and white steel tower by the mountain, just at the edge of the town, is the telephone exchange office of Kawanishi where I live near. It is just 5 minutes by car to the Kawanishi station. There are about 20 golf courses in between where I live and the mountain, all of them accessible within 20 minutes driving.
