January 15, 2002 Takebe-Cho, around the Asahikawa River. The bank is under protection work to develop a building lot. There used to be shrimps and fish such as carps, Japanese daces in the river; or you could see even nests of halcyons at the branch. I took this picture questioning myself whether it was good or not to cultivate nature for our convenience. Masato Suzuki
