October 1, 2000 This is mere scenery of Nishibarashinden in Tsuruoka City: Shonai Plain that is 4- hectare-bog and keeps old and familiar view of the area. Authorities of plants, insects and birds recently made a big research and announced that natural environment of the area is rich with various kinds of creatures including the spices they are almost extinct.
